Movement as Therapy: King of Swings with Alex Lopiccolo, COTA/L

March 24, 2019

Description

Join us and explore the foundations of sensory processing, and a variety of ways to include sensory and motor-based interventions in your practice! Alex Lopiccolo provides practical ideas and the clinical rationale for the use of suspension and non-suspension equipment, and other therapeutic tools when implementing interventions in the clinic, school, or at home.

Hands-on intervention ideas supporting breath, coordination, timing, balance, spatial relationships, and strengthening will be presented. Learn a variety of ways to modify, adapt, and grade activities and environments, to achieve the best possible outcomes when working with children and adolescents. Alex will also present ways to create DIY sensory-based equipment and tools at low cost.

This dynamic, hands-on course is in high demand, and seating is limited due to the interactive nature of the training. Don’t delay! Register today!

*You will receive contact hours for this workshop.
